Today I worked hard at Microsoft and it felt good. When I arrived home, I realized I am five days from leaving. I looked around and thought of how little I had settled since my return from Europe. How my heart had not found a place in the northwest, and I was not letting it. I have a few good friends here and honestly I could make a life here, but this road trip is calling me. Calling me to see my country. I lived overseas this time for five months and was ready to come home. I want to find who America is not what.
My passion for green and sustainable things will guide me, but the roads are to smaller towns and few big cities. That has me worried and expectant. I am worried that there won’t be interesting or ecological happenings in these places, but Google tells me otherwise. It seems to be everywhere. I can’t wait to help weave this web of eco learning.
I’m excited to discover this future.
